Electrical Project Engineer - Ready to Step Up to Project Manager?

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Looking to break into Project Management and take ownership of high-profile projects across Europe?
We're working with a rapidly growing Critical Power Systems contractor based in London, delivering complex electrical packages across hyperscale data centres and mission-critical environments throughout the EU. They're now looking for a driven, commercially aware engineer who's ready to step into a full Project Manager role.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key part of the project delivery team, you'll be responsible for managing 6-8 electrical projects simultaneously, valued between 300K - 1.5M, ensuring smooth delivery on-time, in-budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and managing site managers across multiple EU projects
Overseeing quality standards and client expectations on-site
Driving internal and external reporting processes
Creating and managing project programs, labour histograms, and reporting delays
Taking full ownership of health and safety, RAMS, and risk assessments
Managing costs, variations, and valuations
Acting as the main point of contact for clients across all stages
Coordinating labour planning and monitoring installation progress
What We're Looking For
Experience delivering small-to-medium sized electrical projects (ideally 300K-1.5M range)
Solid commercial acumen and understanding of project finance
Strong organisational skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
Previous team leadership experience or site supervision background
Program-literate (labour loading, sequencing, reporting etc.)
Good knowledge of health & safety practices, RAMs, and quality assurance
Based within commutable distance to London
EU passport holder - essential for EU travel
It's a Bonus If You Have:
A background with a commissioning (Cx) contractor
Experience working across data centres or critical environments
Fluent written and verbal communication skills
