Role: Electrical Biased Team Leader Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus benefits and growth opportunitiesHours: Days - (8am - 4.30pm)Location: SW2, Commutable from across London & the Home CountiesCompanyWe are currently recruiting for an Electrical Biased Team Leader to work within a fast-paced production environment in South West London, leading a team of 6 motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers.

The Maintenance Team Leader will support the Engineering Manager by ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed quickly and efficiently, to a good standard of quality. They will also provide support in relation to all maintenance tasks and projects being undertaken, including breakdowns, PPM, equipment updates, new installations and building or infrastructure upgrades.
The Role
To lead the Maintenance team proactively, ensuring that the company’s vision, values and policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
To support the engineering team with hands on experience across both Electrical & Mechanical issues, mentoring the team to ensure PPMs, Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs) and working procedures are followed.
To support the Engineering Manager & maintenance team to ensure compliance with regulations for fire and alarm systems, PAT, pressure valves etc., analysing the results and ensuring corrective action is implemented to continuously improve the working environment.
Ensuring risk assessments / COSSH / RIDDOR, etc. are implemented and undertaken and accident prevention measures are initiated as required.
Assist the Engineering Manager with the planning, organising and coordination of resources to meet production requirements of ongoing maintenance and unplanned issues.
Assist in the planning and directing of operation, maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment as per production requirements.
Work with approved suppliers to obtain new parts and machinery.
Working with the Engineering Manager to deliver training to engineers and operators on new machinery, using the machinery documentation and SSOWs.
Requirements
An Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer with experience within Production or manufacturing environments
Current or previous experience of leading, mentoring or coaching a team of Maintenance Engineers or Technicians - CMI Level 3 useful but not essential
Good communications skills, both written & verbal
The ability to analyse data and provide your findings effectively, influencing others at all levels.
Good attention to detail
Strong Health & Safety focus
Able to motivate a team using coaching & mentoring to build strong team connections and shared experiences
Ability to work autonomously and drive change as necessary
Electrical qualifications to a minimum of C&G/NVQ Level 3
NEBOSH or have implementation experience of Lean manufacturing - both are useful
