Controls Engineer (Siemens & Schneider)3 - 4 Month ContractCentral London£25.00 - £35.00per hour (Outside IR35) 07:00am - 19:00pm (4 on / 4 off)Are you a Controls Engineer looking for your next immediately available contract role where you will be working at a prestigious world known theatre production company?Due to an increase in workload, my client is needing a Controls Engineer with prior experience in programming and fault-finding PLC's where you will be working at a world-renowned theatre based in central London.The ideal candidate will be a Controls Engineer where You will work as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards; and be involved in the future and ongoing developments, consultation, design, evaluation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new control systems.This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for a Controls Engineer to work for a world-renowned theatre production company where you will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 07:00am - 19:00pm.The Role:

  • Working as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards
  • Working with motion sensor controls
  • Dealing with any failures of the stage systems including production sets that need to be investigated and effective repairs carried out in a safe and timely manner, while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

The Candidate:

  • Theatre production controls background preferred however process controlled background will be transferrable
  • Instrumentation and process background
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA packages and the ability to program PLC's
  • Looking for an immediately available contract role which has been confirmed as Outside IR35
