Electrical Design Engineer - London

Are you an inquisitive individual who enjoys combining technical excellence with creativity? Happy to challenge the status quo and speak up when there is a better way of doing things?

If this sounds like you, then you'll fit right in at this global multidisciplinary practice who are known for innovative engineering, collaborative design, and sustainability.

You'll join a friendly and engaged team of M&E Engineers, Lighting Designers, Architects, Structural Engineers, and Sustainability Engineers, who all work together to achieve the same outcomes. You'll be involved in retrofit and refurbishment projects of listed buildings, state of the art healthcare or life sciences projects, to universities and iconic landmark buildings.

Working as part of a team of eighty professionals, you'll challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and consistently deliver outstanding results for clients. This team works as a cohesive unit: seamlessly passing work between disciplines to deliver exceptional results and having everything in-house results in a holistic approach to design. They embrace multidisciplinary teamwork, and have created an environment where engineers, architects, and structural engineers can collaborate openly, honestly, and effectively.

Your dedication will be recognised and celebrated across both the MEP team and the London office. The weekly CPD's and 'lunch and learns' will ensure you continue to develop your expertise while contributing to meaningful work.

Their London office is a beautifully engineered building offering a vibrant, welcoming space with high ceilings, greenery, and a mix of collaborative and quiet areas.

They are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with at least three years of experience; and can offer a clear pathway for professional growth. They actively encourage all Engineers to become CEng and have a policy of Directors and Partners supporting and mentoring the Intermediate Engineers; ensuring knowledge is shared across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative and practical electrical design solutions,
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to unlock complex project challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Following projects through design, site visits, and post-completion performance evaluation
  • Use Revit and other digitals tools to aid in the design process.
  • Attend weekly CPD's.
  • Promote their interdisciplinary approach to MEP Design

Key Requirements

  • Inquisitive, driven, and eager to ask, "Can we do this better?"
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
  • Good collaborator, willing to go the extra mile to help colleagues or clients.
  • Have seen a few projects through from concept to completion.
