This is a great opportunity if you're looking to avoid commuting to Central London, as you'll be part of a fantastic, experienced maintenance team. This is a static role following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, day shift only.For this role, you'll be responsible for the PPM and Reactive Maintenance for the electrical and mechanical equipment on site, respond to emergencies on site, ensure all compliance is adhered to and ensure the client is satisfied with the service being provided.To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, at least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in commercial maintenance, a great attitude and the ability to work well in a team and individually. Electrical Engineer Job Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
- Organising subcontractors
- Quotations
- Health & Safety
- Logbooks
- Risk assessments
- Permits to work
Electrical Engineer Job Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
- 17th Edition minimum, 18th edition is desirable
- At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in commercial maintenance
- Polite and personable
- Live in commutable distance of Canary Wharf
- Apprentice trained - Highly desirable
Salary and Job Package:
- £49,000 per annum
