Great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's maintenance team on a fantastic commercial property based in Canary Wharf, East London. You will be joining a market leading building service provider, well known for offering valuable career progression, internal progression and fantastic engineering experience! This is a static role, following a fixed schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. You will be responsible for ensuring PPM and reactive maintenance is carried out on electrical and mechanical systems on site, ensure all relevant logbooks / documents are updated regularly, liaise with sub contractors, fault find and report into the site manager.To be successful for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Engineering / Installations (C&G / NVQ or equivalent), 3 years minimum experience in commercial property maintenance, good understanding of commercial maintenance regulations and a client facing attitude.Electrical Engineer Duties:

  • To identify, diagnose, and rectify faults, performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • M&E Planned and Reactive maintenance - EML and Fire Alarm tests, AHU, FCU, minor Plumbing and Fabric maintenance, lighting & lamping repairs etc.
  • Execute routine servicing, repair, and adjustment of machinery or equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans designated by the Engineering Supervisor/ BSM's.
  • Ensure optimal plant and equipment efficiency by meticulously adhering to prescribed requirements and instructions for each task.
  • Fulfill any reasonable duties as assigned by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering / Installations (C&G / NVQ / EAL or equivalent + 17th edition minimum)
  • At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Live in commutable distance
  • Good understanding of mechanical plant equipment
  • Client facing attitude

Salary and Benefits:
