The Company:

One of the UKs leading Large Format Digital POS Manufacturers has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. Providing a maintenance service to both the building and printing plant to include Digital / Lithographic / Screen and finishing machinery. Assisting in fault-finding, installations, and repairs.

The Role:

  • To provide breakdown response to the Group of Companies
  • Regular lighting maintenance of all buildings that the Group of Companies own.
  • Assist with Ad-hoc installation projects
  • Timely completion of weekly job sheets
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
  • Diagnosing faults
  • Repairing equipment
  • Obtaining specialist components, fixtures, or fittings
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Creating maintenance procedures
  • Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
  • Equipment Maintenance -Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-years’ time served apprenticeship is essential
  • Maths & English GCSE - Grade 4 or higher
  • City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate
  • Qualified to part 1 and 2 City and Guilds for electrical installations
  • Experience working on machinery
  • Lithographic knowledge is desirable
  • General screen-printing knowledge will be required in this role
  • General building maintenance experience is required
