The Company:
One of the UKs leading Large Format Digital POS Manufacturers has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. Providing a maintenance service to both the building and printing plant to include Digital / Lithographic / Screen and finishing machinery. Assisting in fault-finding, installations, and repairs.
The Role:
- To provide breakdown response to the Group of Companies
- Regular lighting maintenance of all buildings that the Group of Companies own.
- Assist with Ad-hoc installation projects
- Timely completion of weekly job sheets
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
- Diagnosing faults
- Repairing equipment
- Obtaining specialist components, fixtures, or fittings
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Creating maintenance procedures
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
- Equipment Maintenance -Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-years’ time served apprenticeship is essential
- Maths & English GCSE - Grade 4 or higher
- City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate
- Qualified to part 1 and 2 City and Guilds for electrical installations
- Experience working on machinery
- Lithographic knowledge is desirable
- General screen-printing knowledge will be required in this role
- General building maintenance experience is required
