Fantastic role to work on a flagship, high end, recognisable contract based in Canary Wharf. Our client provides additional training, opportunities to progress further, part of a close team and the chance to work on a fantastic contract.In this role, you will follow a continental shift pattern, day and night shift.In this Electrical Engineer role, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, liaise with subcontractors, fill out and update relevant site documents, report into the site manager and ensure the client is satisfied with the service being provided.Electrical Engineer Duties
- PPMs & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Reports
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
- Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Electrical Engineering (City and guilds / NVQ / EAL or equivalent + regulations qualifications)
- At least 3 years experience as an electrical engineer in commercial environments
- Client facing attitude
- Live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf
- Apprentice trained - Desirable
Salary and Package:
- £50,000 per annum
