The work will involve replacing worn and redundant HV cabling throughout tunnels, LUL Substations, and affiliated work that falls under the scheme route-wide along the Piccadilly line
The work will be based predominantly on 8-hour days and will be based on 5 shifts per week, with occasional weekends when required. The work is ongoing, and several phases follow this initial phase of around 12 months. The work will be located throughout London and within the M25.
We are seeking applicants who are familiar with working in the LUL environment. A working knowledge of rail systems, standards, and health and safety guidelines is a prerequisite for the role.
You must have a minimum ICI-LU competence along with your electrical qualifications. Additional Tickets such as Sub-Station entry, Safe Isolation L3, QAFF, Pasma & Track Trolley are advantageous for this role. You must also have a formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (or similar) s well as SMSTS/SSSTS.
Full Sub-Station training can be provided to those candidates who have strong LUL knowledge and hold the relevant trade qualifications. You must first pass a DBS check in order to qualify for Sub-Station training.
This role is PAYE-employed; we are unable to offer LTD or CIS employment models for it. Please be aware of this before submitting your application.
This role is ongoing and is paid on an 8-hour shift basis.
Rate is dependent on experience but will range between 400-450 per shift based on an 8-hour dayshift.
