This exciting opportunity to work for a leading property management company situated in Old Street I am currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to look after commercial properties in the Tottenham Court Road area working within a team.

You will need to be electrically qualified and have an all round understanding of most trades, as well as having a proven track record in property / commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to attend a property and carry out all aspects of planned and reactive electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to 43,000, overtime and a great package.

Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
  • Overtime Available
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
  • Emergency lighting
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Chillers - Re-set
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Water Treatment
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
  • UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
Requirements (Essential)
  • Electrically qualified City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3
  • A proven track record in commercial building or property maintenance
  • Happy to cover a portfolio of high end properties
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly flexible and adaptable with hours, duties and travel
  • Committed to/looking for a long term role
  • Able to work to very high standards
  • Basic knowledge of building regulations
  • A thorough understanding of Health & Safety standards
  • A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality
