ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

JOB OVERVIEW

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in London and surrounding areas.

Their client base include but are not limited to Commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, and pumps.

  • Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.

  • Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.

  • Handle mechanical and plumbing tasks, including pump repairs, pipework, and water heating systems.

  • Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.

  • Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Approved Electrical Apprenticeship – Minimum requirement.

18th Edition Accreditation – Essential.

2391 Testing & Inspection – Beneficial.

F-Gas & ODS Regulations (C&G 2079-11) – Advantageous.
