Exciting opportunity to work for a Direct Client at a commercial office building in Canary Wharf. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a 13 storey commercial office building in building in Canary Wharf looking after landlord side maintenance. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G, 18th Edition) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a critical site (i.e. Bank, Data centre, Blue chip office etc). Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following. In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £47,598, further training, overtime and career progression.
Duties
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

- 07:00am - 16:00pm

Requirements
- Electrically Qualified
- City & Guilds - Level 3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- A proven track record in Building Maintenance working
- Good Communication Skills.
- Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
- Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution
- Traceable work History
