Job Description: Electrical Project Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 per annum

Our client is a prestigious firm renowned for delivering high-value MEP projects across the commercial sector. With a reputation for excellence and a portfolio of significant projects, they are seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to contribute to a major commercial office shell & core development in Central London.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team and oversee the electrical aspects of a major £50 million MEP project. This role involves reporting directly to the Project Manager and playing a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the electrical components of this large-scale commercial office project.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Assist in managing all electrical engineering activities related to the shell & core commercial office project.
Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met in accordance with the project plan.

Technical Oversight:
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Address and resolve technical issues promptly.

Coordination:
Work closely with the Project Manager and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other MEP components.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including technical reports, progress updates, and compliance records.
Report progress and any issues to the Project Manager regularly.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, ideally within large-scale commercial or MEP projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design, installation, and commissioning.
Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
