Salary: up to £55,000 per annumWe are on the lookout for a skilled Project Engineer with an electrical bias to become a pivotal part of the National Theatre Capital Projects Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to a range of exciting infrastructure upgrade projects set for completion by March 2026. If you have a passion for engineering and a knack for electrical services, we want you on our team!Day to Day of the role:

  • Serve as the primary engineering contact for Contractors, Designers, NT Project Managers, external Project Managers, and the Programme Manager.
  • Provide expert advice and support on all engineering matters, with a focus on electrical services.
  • Ensure seamless coordination and communication between all parties involved in the projects.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and surveys, and liaise with the Facilities team to align with Business-as-Usual operations.
  • Oversee the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems within the project portfolio.
  • Maintain compliance with Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer with an electrical bias in building, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance.
  • A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, with qualifications to degree level or HNC.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of common electrical engineering infrastructure and systems.
