Electrical Project Engineer - Permanent Role in London - Global Intralogistics Company
Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer looking to make an impact on exciting automation projects? As part of a global engineering network, you’ll have the chance to work alongside over 1,000 engineers, gaining valuable exposure to diverse challenges and innovative solutions.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing electrical circuits and layouts for intralogistics systems. This technical and hands-on position will require you to work closely with project leaders to ensure your designs meet high standards, deliver results on time, and provide real value to customers both in the UK and abroad. You’ll create and specify electrical controls installations, including cabinets, field wiring, cable layouts, and power distribution. Your attention to detail will be essential as you handle power calculations, design control layouts, and ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and legislation.
If you have experience in electrical design for industrial installations, familiarity with tools like Autocad or Eplan, and knowledge of industrial networks such as ProfiNet or Profibus, we want to hear from you. A background in electro-technology or energy technology would be a great fit, and while experience with material handling systems is a plus, it’s not essential. The ideal candidate will be organised, analytical, precise, and able to communicate clearly with both internal teams and subcontractors.
