Your new companyOur client are a large, well-known FM Provider who work across a number of commercial sites across the UK. They are hiring an Electrical Shift Engineer to operate on a continental shift basis within their hospital site based in West London. Your new roleAs an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team and will maintain plant and boiler rooms through management of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and reactive maintenance activities. Key duties will include:

  • Able to apply a risk focused maintenance approach of electrical systems in critical environments
  • Check, repair and replace functional components of electrical systems including valves, fans, pumps and compressors.
  • React to maintenance requests
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner
  • Ensure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience of operating as an Electrical Engineer within a commercial environment. You will also require:

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
  • 18th edition
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn
