Great vacancy for an Electrical Shift Engineer to gain exposure to a high end commercial property based in Regents Park, a short walk from Euston train station. You'll be joining a long standing, well respected building service provider and be part of a tight knit maintenance team!This is a static role, following a fixed shift schedule of 4 on / 4 off, (Day shift only, no nights)As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be part of the M&E Maintenance team on site, carry out Planned preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, actively fault find issues on site, report into the account manager on site, oversee logbooks / site documents and provide the best service possible to the client.To be successful for this role, you must be qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), 17th edition minimum, at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance, SFG20 knowledge and the ability to work well as a team and individually. Electrical Shift Engineer duties:
- PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
- Electrical Fault-Finding
- Single & Three Phase Power
- Emergency Lighting
- Fire Alarms
- BMS Operation
- AHUs
- FCUs
- Generators
- VAV/VRFs
- Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps & Motors
- Site Folders, E-logbooks, Managing Contractors, Audits, Quotations
Electrical Shift Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent) + 17th edition minimum
- At least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance
- Good knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems
- Client facing skills
- Apprentice trained would be desirable, not essential
Package + Benefits:
- £45,000 - £49,000 per annum
