Electrical Site Engineer

Location: Based around Hartford / North London, M25 Corridor

Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 per annum, depending on experience plus overtime

Established in 1959, our client started out as a general engineering company before growing to consist of 6 divisions Pumps, Controls and Automation, Flow Valves, Pumping Stations, Service and Agricultural and Environmental each one providing single equipment solutions or complete liquid management systems.

The company now stands as an established designer, manufacturer, supplier and installer of water and waste management equipment, with comprehensive after-sales support providing commissioning, servicing, maintenance and emergency repairs to make the company a true one-stop shop.

The Role

This challenging and diverse role includes working alongside a mechanical engineer installing, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment.

  • Attend sites across the UK
  • Support their after-sales and breakdown department when available
  • Be prepared to stay away from home when required, at least one night a week
  • Maintain company procedures and improve where possible
  • Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signature
  • Return all completed site reports and time sheets in a timely fashion
  • Be a good ambassador for the company, promoting all products and services
  • Ensure all materials and tools are available before leaving and complete works within time frames
  • Communicate at all levels
  • Be responsible for petty cash and credit card
  • Identify training needs

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • C&G Level 3 - Initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations

Desirable:

  • Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition
  • Confined space training
  • First Aid
  • CSCS
