Job Title: Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer / Electrician (Transport for London Contract)
Location: Central London and surrounding areas
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 (Based on experience) + Company Van & Fuel Card, Travel Card, Overtime Opportunities
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer/Electrician to join our team for a contract with Transport for London (TfL). You will be responsible for undertaking small electrical installations, repairs, and reactive/non-electrical work, ensuring that the facilities are maintained to the highest standard. This includes electrical services such as light fittings, hand dryers, water heaters, and various non-electrical tasks across multiple sites on the London Underground Network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform small electrical installations, repairs, and replacements, including hand dryers, water heaters, light fittings, sockets, and more.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services, including emergency light testing, L8, clamp testing, and fabric checks.
- Handle reactive breakdown repairs to building services systems, including lock changes, door closer replacements, water and electric isolation.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide fault diagnostics and efficient problem-solving.
- Work across multiple TfL locations in Central London and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with company standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake on-call duties, with on-call rotation being 1 in 5.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Electrical Engineering (Level 3 preferred).
- Proven experience in building maintenance and PPM, ideally across both domestic and commercial properties.
- Solid Health & Safety awareness.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Ability to work in the UK.
- Comfortable with driving around London and using the TfL network when necessary.
- Available for on-call duties with overtime rates for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Salary Breakdown:
- Hourly Rate: £17.80 - £20.20 per hour (PAYE Direct)
- Hourly Rate (PAYE Umbrella/CIS): £22.28 - £25.29 per hour
