Generator Service Engineer required. Our client is a world- renowned Construction and Industrial machinery company that specialise in machine sales, service and parts support. They are looking for a Generator Service Engineer due to the growth of the business. This will be a field base role covering London and inner M25.Successful candidates will provide onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Candidates will provide support as well as repair and maintenance of Plant and Construction. Electrically and mechanically qualified are desired.

Generator Service Engineer Position Overview
  • Work both in a workshop and site environment
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Repair and service of generators
  • Repair and service of associated equipment
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
  • Service equipment both on and off site
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
  • Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
  • Present a professional image at all times
  • Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy
Generator Service Engineer Position Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years generator experience
  • Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Ability to service the range of plant-based machinery
Generator Service Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £37,440- £38,480
  • Working hours: 40 hours a week
  • Overtime available
  • Holiday Package: 22 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
