Role Overview
This role involves providing on-site support for generator systems within the designated region, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition through maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in both workshop and field environments
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform servicing and maintenance on generator units and related equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot technical issues
- Carry out repairs both on-site and off-site as needed
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Build strong relationships with customers and team members
- Uphold a professional approach in all work activities
- Take responsibility for health and safety in line with company policies
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong mechanical background
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generator servicing and repair
- Familiarity with engines, alternators, control panels, and electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Full UK driving license
- Proficiency in fault diagnosis and problem-solving
- Computer literacy, including MS Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and environments
