Key Responsibilities
- To undertake all general servicing of forecourt fuel monitoring, commercial fueling systems and delivery systems - automatic tank gauge and safety monitoring systems, fuel pumps, EV chargers, dispensers and other equipment associated with fuel delivery systems.
- To undertake planned preventive maintenance work, calibration, and regulatory inspections of all aspects of fueling solutions. To include measuring charging infrastructure performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- To commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair rapid DC, AC, ultra and HPC EV chargers. To liaise with the EV Service providers helpdesk and remote diagnostic teams.
- To investigate and undertake fault diagnostics and repairs on customer forecourt sites, ensuring the most cost effective and efficient solutions are implemented to enable chargers/pumps to be fully activated.
- Regularly communicate with the internal services team i.e., call centre, helpdesk team, controllers, IS360 colleagues and field colleagues to:- clarify issues in respect of jobs- report issues/damages/defects- order required spares to enable job completion- gain information on priority jobs/clarity on work allocation/update on any
changes to jobs
- To work with Installation team, sub-contractors/customers to ensure the completion of projects and service works in a timely manner.
- To foster and develop good customer relationship with site staff/third party contractors in the execution of duties.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation ensuring work orders are fully completed, reports prepared and obtaining, where necessary, the correct authorization/signature prior to leaving sites.
- Attend appropriate training as required to maintain capability and proficiency.
- To ensure all work activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant H&S legislation and HSE policy and procedure.
- To contribute to a safe working environment by maintaining an orderly work area and proactively raising safety concerns via the company's internal (and anonymous) reporting portal.
- To participate, where opportunities exist, in the sales lead incentive scheme.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of maintaining forecourt fuelling equipment but is not essential as training will be provided.
- Previous electrical or electronic experience or a willingness and commitment to learn these skills.
- Previous electro mechanic working experience or ability to grasp this knowledge/concept quickly.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A solid understanding and experience of working to prescribed safety and technical procedures.
- Happy to travel with occasional overnight stays.
