Job Summary:
They are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Develop electrical designs and specifications for building services projects.
* Prepare detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and drawings.
* Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
* Perform calculations and simulations to ensure electrical systems are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.
* Participate in project meetings and site visits to assess progress and address any design-related issues.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
* Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material submittals.
* Ensure all designs and documentation are accurately maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the building services industry.
* Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
* Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., BS, IEC).
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
