This is a great opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a well respected building services company in the heart of the City of London in a high end commercial property. In this role you will be expected to look after three engineers in an eighteen story commercial office space. This is a high profile contract where you will be looking after a team of 3 maintenance engineers, ensuring statuary compliance is being met and building relations with the client. This role will follow a Monday - Friday (8 - 5)The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Shift Lead/Supervisor, fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) the ability to lead a team and posses a great attitude.Duties:
- PPM & Reactive maintenance Log books
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
- Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
- Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
- Organising subcontractors
- Completing logbooks and RAMS
- Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
- Permits to work
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Ability to lead a team of maintenance engineers
- Prior experience as a Shift Lead / Supervisor is essential
- Commercial Building Service Maintenance Experience (At least 5 years prior)
- Career driven and ambition to progress further
- Polite and personable
- LV / HV ticket - Desirable
- Apprentice trained - Desirable
Salary and Benefits:
- £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
