Great role for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our client! State of the art commercial property. You will be joining a market leading business within the commercial maintenance sector. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will oversee and ensure your team is hitting goals, provide technical support, remain on the tools and carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, book in subcontractors, approve RAMs and permits and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided. This is a static position, following a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, days and nights.To be successful for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) + C&G / EAL 2382-15 or 2382-22 / 17th or 18th edition, at least 5 years experience within commercial maintenance, the ability to lead a team and possess a client facing attitude.Lead Electrical Engineer Duties:

  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Reports
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Lead Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) + C&G / EAL 2382-15 or 2382-22
  • At least 5 years experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Client facing attitude
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential

Salary and Benefits:
