We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Shift Electrical Engineer to join our facility management company. You'll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining essential building systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety at all times across one of a flagship site.Position: Lead Electrical - multi skilled engineerLocation: City of LondonSalary: £58,000 + per year + overtime + benefitsContinental shift pattern days & nights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the shift engineering team in delivering high-quality maintenance and reactive services on all critical electrical systems, as well as general building services.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC, and emergency systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for both staff and building occupants.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues, providing expert technical support and guidance to the team.
  • Take ownership of high-voltage (HV) operations on-site, including maintenance, testing, and switching (HVAP certification required).
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation for compliance, including logbooks, permits, and risk assessments.

Skills:

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification or equivalent.
  • High Voltage Authorized Person (HVAP) certification.
