We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a global leader in the supply and installation of food production equipment. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join their customer support team in a fully remote, home-based role.

This position is ideally suited to an engineer with an electrical/mechanical background who is seeking an office-based role, working remotely to provide technical assistance to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing remote technical support to end-users experiencing equipment malfunctions or breakdowns
  • Developing documentation and knowledge-based articles to assist in troubleshooting and fault resolution
  • Managing a personal ticketing queue, ensuring timely updates and progress on all tickets
  • Assisting the Installation and Service Manager with tasks such as scheduling and dispatching field technicians, quoting service visits and inspections, and organising tools and parts for on-site jobs
  • Ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met by maintaining customer response times
  • Analysing service visit reports to ensure all recommended actions have been completed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Experience with PLC fault-finding
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems and remote support tools
