What You Need to Have

About the Role

As an OHL Design Engineer, you'll be a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and delivering overhead power line projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing OHL routes, selecting materials, and preparing technical specifications using tools like PLS-CADD.
  • Leading and managing OHL projects, ensuring compliance with UK standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines (civil, structural) and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
  • Overseeing the preparation of designs, layouts, and technical reports.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices.
