The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to take a leadership role in delivering innovative electrical design solutions across a variety of high-profile projects. You will:

• Lead and manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all project stages.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality design output.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and client expectations while contributing to the strategic direction of the team.
• Manage client relationships, attending key meetings, and playing a pivotal role in the business development process.

Skills and Background:

• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it), with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng).
• Significant experience in delivering large-scale, complex projects within the M&E industry.
• Proven leadership experience, managing both teams and projects effectively.
• Strong technical knowledge, including proficiency in IT-based calculation software, as well as Dialux, Relux, Amtech, and Revit.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a track record of delivering projects that exceed client expectations.
