About the Opportunity:
An industry-leading consultancy, renowned for its expertise in mission-critical systems, is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to drive innovation in data centre projects. In this role, you'll play a key leadership position, overseeing the design and execution of high-profile projects. You'll work closely with clients, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the seamless delivery of state-of-the-art electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for mission-critical data centres.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Act as the lead engineer, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive project success.
- Oversee site inspections, technical reviews, and system integration.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making, helping to shape the future of data centre engineering.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Extensive experience in data centre electrical design or other mission-critical environments.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis software.
