We are seeking a skilled Section Engineer to join our team on an ambitious infrastructure project. This temporary role involves overseeing the engineering aspects of the Thames Tideway Tunnel - Main Works East, a major undertaking aimed at reducing sewer discharge overflows into the River Thames. As a Section Engineer, you will support the Site Engineers, collaborate with supply chain contractors, and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality control procedures. You will also play a vital role in managing technical engineering tasks, coordinating activities, and contributing to the successful delivery of the project.

Skills:

Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
Understanding of Engineering Principles.
Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
Experience in large project environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
Proficient in developing and managing project budgets and programmes.
Experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management.

Certifications & Standards:

Relevant CSCS Card
