About the Role:
The are currently seeking a talented Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in our London office, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to advance their career and contribute to high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed electrical designs for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and efficient design solutions.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design specifications are met.
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
* Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Project Examples:
* Educational Facilities: Design and development of modern and sustainable school buildings.
* Healthcare Institutions: Electrical systems design for hospitals and clinics, focusing on reliability and energy efficiency.
* Commercial Developments: Electrical design for office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.
* Residential Complexes: Innovative electrical solutions for housing developments, including smart home technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech and Dialux.
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
