This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead electrical design projects from concept to completion across a variety of industries.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the electrical design process, ensuring all stages from concept through to completion are met.
  • Prepare detailed designs, specifications, reports, and drawings according to client needs.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to produce coordinated, technically compliant designs.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and design variations to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all designs comply with statutory regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to internal team development.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years’ experience in electrical design within building services.
  • Membership of a professional engineering body (IEng, CEng, or working towards Chartership).
  • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, power distribution, and electrical systems design.
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations, CDM, and other industry standards.
