- Lead and manage the electrical design process, ensuring all stages from concept through to completion are met.
- Prepare detailed designs, specifications, reports, and drawings according to client needs.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to produce coordinated, technically compliant designs.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and design variations to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure all designs comply with statutory regulations and health & safety standards.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to internal team development.
- 7-10 years’ experience in electrical design within building services.
- Membership of a professional engineering body (IEng, CEng, or working towards Chartership).
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, power distribution, and electrical systems design.
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations, CDM, and other industry standards.
