Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Contract Length: 6 Months +

Great opportunity to join an international consultancy as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a contract basis.

As the selected candidate you will join an established team in their scenic Central London office on a 6 month + contract.

You will be required produce detail design and installation design of complete electrical systems for Data Centres in conjunction with their Sales, Technical and Project Management teams. With a keen eye for detail, you will be conversant with all aspects of electrical engineering in critical environments. 

Whilst you will be a competent & experienced designer, we are looking for a self-starter that can manage and develop resource to meet project demands whilst maintaining the highest level of technical excellence and regulatory compliance and work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary engineering team. 

Essential Requirements:

• Vibrant individuals with strong Building Services background
• Must have commercial or data centre project experience
• Ability to work independently to consistently high standards
• Working knowledge of technical software Dialux and Amtech
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to liaise with the M&E team in addition to clients
• Good supervisory qualities and experience
• Extensive knowledge of UK building regulations
• First-rate time management skills, demonstrating the capability to implement plans within time constraints
