Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

Location: London (Hybrid working - 2 days from home per week)
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an established and growing MEP Design Consultancy based in London. Due to a growing portfolio of residential and commercial projects, our client is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage the delivery of these projects, providing technical expertise and leadership to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across various residential and commercial projects.
·Attend and contribute to design team meetings, working directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
·Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior and intermediate engineers, and overseeing the development of their skills and performance.
·Collaborate with the senior team and Associate Director to ensure projects meet budget, scope, and timelines.
·Manage client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and delivering high-quality, innovative engineering solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience: At least 5+ years of MEP Design Consultancy experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.

Client-Facing: Comfortable leading client meetings, attending design reviews, and presenting technical solutions confidently.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers and taking the lead on technical aspects of projects.

Team-Oriented: A collaborative approach, working effectively within a team to achieve project and business goals.
