They work across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, and industrial, ensuring that each project is both challenging and rewarding.Your New RoleAs a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading projects and guiding junior engineers. You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as Project Leader on selected projects.
  • Attending principal meetings and making client presentations.
  • Promoting technical excellence within the team.
  • Developing client relationships and generating repeat business.
  • Working on a variety of technically challenging projects from inception to completion.
  • Producing drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Collaborating closely with team members to achieve common goals.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of post-qualification design experience in building services.
  • Proficiency in software design tools such as Microsoft Suite, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit.
  • Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations, and HTM's.
  • Professional Membership (CIBSE, IET) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of HV/LV systems and integration of renewable technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
