Senior Electrical Design Engineer: £55-60k- City of London

I am currently working with a leading design consultant based in the City of London and are looking to expand their team and take on Senior Electrical Design Engineers. They are a multi-disciplinary establishment with over 30 years’ experience in the design of building services.

Not only do they have a solid background in the world of engineering, but they also bring multi sector experience in the following fields: healthcare, airports, commercial buildings, residential buildings, data centres and education. Key duties of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer:

• Responsible for running medium size projects, undertaking a client facing role in the development, design and coordination of engineering projects services.
• Develop and specify applications of control, instruments and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes.
• Survey tests and reports on existing electrical installations.
• Specifies activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements.
• Day-to-day decision making on project progress and direct advice liaison with the client.
• Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required industry and legal standards.
• Responsible for technical content and accuracy of Trainee, Graduates and Engineers.
• Validation and checking of design and specifications.
