Our client is a consultancy who provide sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of the property, infrastructure, environment and energy markets.

Due to continued growth, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an established building services consultancy in London, outside IR35.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre projects, the ability to take ownership of designs, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

This role requires the successful candidate to operate on a hybrid basis, attending the office 3 days per week.

Ideal candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Electrical Design for Data Centre/Mission Critical projects is essential
• Experience, especially in designing and managing projects.
• Design Coordination with other stakeholders & disciplines.
• Wide experience of critical electrical systems, MV and LV power systems, standby generation, UPS, earthing, fire alarm systems.
• Systems design to various resilience levels.
• First-rate communication skills
• Knowledge of existing standards and ability to develop requirements for new building services projects
• Drive and determination
• Good supervisory qualities and experience
