Responsibilities:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our London Office, to work on the design of some of the most exciting electrical design projects in London and internationally.

You would be working on a variety of projects working with leading developers and clients. We're looking for people who have experience in commercial offices, both refurbishment and new build, education, hospitality, large transport hubs and or redevelopments. We're currently working on several commercial offices with the remit to remodel and decarbonise, and the CAT B fitout of some of London's prime office space for blue-chip clients. We continue to have new build projects including a major transport hub, new build Passivhaus school and new offices in central London.

As part of our established team of expert engineers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed engineering designs. You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, and Retail. You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and will be supported towards Chartership.

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng), and having gained relevant experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design, security systems etc), and having experience of detailed co-ordination with other design disciplines, you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux. You have proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development, and crucially - you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
