We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical design and AutoCAD to join our engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of mechanical systems, focusing on CAD drafting and ensuring efficient, high-quality results that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and layouts using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Lead design projects from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, and other systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during project execution.
- Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and models.
Requirement of the successful Senior Mechanical Engineers:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and design processes.
- Familiarity with engineering codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams is preferred.
