We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Engineer to work with our client on a brand new, state of the art, commercial property based in Liverpool Street. You'll join a market leader within building services, be provided additional training and authorised persons status (AP), be part of a fantastic maintenance team and receive opportunities to progress further within the company! This is a continental shift pattern role, day and night shiftFor the role of Shift Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems on site, actively fault find issues / troubleshoot, ensure all logbooks are up date and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided.The successful Shift Engineer will be qualified in either Electrical Installations / Engineering or a mechanical related engineering course, at least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance, have a client facing attitude and work well as part of a team.Shift Engineer Duties:
- PPMs & Reactive Maintenance
- Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Testing, Pumps, Sprinkler Systems
- AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC Units, BMS Operation
- Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV Switching
- Risk Assessments, Permits to Work, Logbooks
- Organising Subcontractors & Quotations
Shift Engineer Requirements:
- Fully qualified in either Electrical Installations / Engineering or a Mechanical related qualification
- At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
- Client facing attitude
- Work well in a team
- Apprentice trained would be favourable, not essential
Salary and Package:
- £50,000 - £53,000 per annum
- Continental shift pattern, day and night shift
- Additional training + Authorised person status (AP)
