Job Title: Electronics Production Tester

My client are a very well established Entertainment Lighting provider, who specialise in providing specialist lighting equipment to a range of well known companies within the music, sporting, television and movie sectors and have worked on large scale projects such as The London Olympics, as well as some iconic, block buster movies.

Due to business growth and increased demand for their products, they are looking to add a new member of staff to their QA/Production Testing team in order to support the production demand for their products and fulfil customer needs.

The role will require someone who has good fault finding/diagnostic skills and is able to investigate and rectify issues with devices. You must also possess competent soldering skills and be able to solder at component level on to PCB boards, with efficiency.

Maybe you have formerly worked in an Electronics Production environment, or are a Graduate, with a strong passion for Electronics, or even a talented elctronic hobbyist?   • Run products through set software testing cycles
  • Read schematic diagrams
  • Support colleagues with production of electronic equipment to meet production demand
  • To solder electronic components on to printed circuit boards

The person:

  • Experience with PCB assembly
  • The ability to solder at component level
  • Good Fault finding/Diagnostic skills/experience
  • Ideally be a Graduate with an Electronics Engineering Degree (Desireable)
  • Strong passion for Electronics
  • MUST be a Full UK Licence holder, as the role requires staff to pick up supplies from another site
  • Ideally experienced within a electronics production, QA/Testing role
