About the Role:
Concept IT is seeking a skilled and experienced Structured Cabling Technician to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Perform installation of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cables, in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the integrity and performance of cabling systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to cabling infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in structured cabling installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for cabling systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, CNET) are a plus.
