Are you an experienced Building Services Maintenance Engineer who has strong mechanical and electrical maintenance competencies? We are looking to speak with you! I have partnered with multiple leading FM maintenance service providers who are actively recruiting skilled staff for their teams across London.
Duties
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of site plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems
- Plumbing, Taps, Valves, Water Treatment, Tap Temperatures, Toilets, Pipes, Leaks
- Single and three phase power, generator readings, emergency light testing, fire alarm testing
- Minor electrical - changing sockets, rewiring, fault finding
- Legionella awareness
- Maintenance on AHUs/FCUs/split AC systems
- Plant room checks
- General fabric maintenance when needed
- Logging all works carried out using online logging tool
- Supporting wider shift team with larger maintenance works
- Liaising and escorting subcontractors around the site
- Building/maintaining good relationship with end client and building/facility manager
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing & Heating
- 18th Edition
- Building services maintenance experience (2 years +)
- Able to communicate well on emails and face to face
Salary & benefits
- 50,000 - 60,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday entitlement + 8 days bank holiday
- Overtime available at 1.5x standard rate, 2x for Sundays and bank holidays
