We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our dedicated engineering team at a prestigious, high-profile commercial site in the heart of London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, dynamic environment where high standards of maintenance, professionalism, and client service are essential.

You'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large commercial facility, ensuring that the building's systems are operating efficiently and safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance tasks in line with site requirements and service level agreements.

  • Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, emergency lighting, power supplies, and control systems.

  • First response to electrical faults and breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and completing effective repairs.

  • Support with HV/LV systems where trained and competent (training may be provided if required).

  • Work collaboratively with other on-site engineers (mechanical/HVAC/multi-skilled) to ensure seamless building operations.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, electrical regulations (e.g., BS7671), and company policies at all times.

  • Identify opportunities for energy savings, system improvements, and lifecycle upgrades.

  • Assist with contractor supervision and escorting where required.

  • Provide support for project and upgrade works across the site.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Fully qualified electrician with City & Guilds 2365 / 2330, or equivalent Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

  • 17th or 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification (18th Edition preferred).

  • Proven experience working in a commercial building maintenance environment.

  • Good understanding of building services systems (BMS, HVAC interfaces, fire alarms, etc.).

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
