Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Near Waterloo Train Station, London
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a prestigious Grade 1 listed building located near Waterloo Train Station. This is a temp to perm role, offering an excellent opportunity for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine electrical maintenance and fault finding across the building's electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, building regulations, and health & safety procedures.
- Work across both day and night shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off.
- Manage and maintain electrical installations, wiring, and controls in a historic building.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality service and ensure the smooth operation of the building.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (day and night shifts)
Requirements:
- Must hold Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and 18th Edition.
- Experience working in a Grade 1 listed building or similar heritage properties is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and fault-finding techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies.
Salary & Benefits:
- Up to 38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 2,000 shift allowance
- Unlimited overtime (paid at competitive rates)
