Electrical Maintenance SupervisorLondon£50k Permanent + Vehicle+ Full Benefits PackageMy client is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage the electrical maintenance operations within domestic social housing properties, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, high-quality service delivery, and resident satisfaction.Key Responsibilities for Electrical Maintenance SupervisorSupervise and coordinate the work of electricians and contractors in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the housing stock.Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure effective performance and compliance with health and safety standards.Ensure timely repair and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, heating, fire alarms, and emergency systems.Respond to urgent electrical issues to minimize disruption to residents.Ensure all works are compliant with current regulations, including BS 7671, and adhere to health and safety legislation.Maintain and update relevant documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.Plan and schedule maintenance programs to minimize inconvenience to tenants and optimize resource use.Liaise with residents, housing officers, and other stakeholders to communicate works and resolve issues.Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure high standards of quality and safety.Address any identified defects or non-compliance issues promptly.Qualifications & Experience for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and supervising teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant social housing legislation and tenant requirements.
