Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £42,000- £50,000 (based on experience and qualifications), plus other benefits and KPI bonus.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our client, anestablished building servicescompany in North London as a QS (Qualified Supervisor). The role involves signing off electric certificates for approximately 10-20 jobs per day and performing on-site electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with current British standards.
  • Act as one of the companys Qualified Supervisors (QS).
  • Conduct QA checks on the team submitting EICRs, Part P, etc.
  • Train and develop new electricians as the department expands.
  • Understand and execute inspection, testing, verification, certification, and reporting procedures for a range of electrical work.
  • Address and challenge poor standards of work by engineers and sub-contractors.
Work Environment:

  • The work will encompass both residential and commercial projects.
  • The role includes a mix of office-based and on-the-road duties.
  • There is potential for participation in out-of-hours and weekend rotas.
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical QS, Electrical Manager, or a similar role.
  • City & Guilds (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and Inspection.
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or Part 1 & 2.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition IET Regulations BS7671.
  • Training up to the 18th 2nd Amendment.
