Job Title: Electrical Supervisor (Water Treatment)Location: East London

The Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and play a vital role in the successful construction, commissioning, and maintenance of a water treatment plant in East London. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance, and quality control on this important infrastructure project.Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Installation:

Oversee the installation and assembly of electrical systems within the water treatment plant, including power distribution, control panels, instrumentation, and lighting systems.Ensure all installations are carried out according to project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors involved in the installation process.

Maintenance and Repair:

Supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting issues, repairing damaged parts, and ensuring optimal system performance.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.Ensure the availability of spare parts and materials for maintenance activities.

Quality Control:

Enforce quality control standards throughout the installation and maintenance processes.Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and safety requirements.

Safety and Compliance:

Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and compliant manner, complying with relevant industry standards and regulations.Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks with the team.Implement a strong safety culture on site.

Team Management:

Supervise a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance and support.Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team is properly equipped and trained.Maintain clear communication with the team and project stakeholders.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material usage.Prepare progress reports and updates for the project manager.Required Qualifications and Experience:
