Company OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee operations on a critical site in South East London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision: Lead a team of skilled electricians and technicians, ensuring all PPMs and reactive tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support for complex electrical systems
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety regulations and conduct regular site checks to guarantee compliance.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, including plant status monitoring, reporting issues, and coordinating isolations or maintenance activities.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any operational challenges effectively and professionally.
  • Project Management: Oversee and deliver small works and project tasks both on-site and at external client locations as required.
  • Escalation Point: Act as the first point of escalation for equipment failures, including participation in the on-call rota.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 or core electrical qualification (level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Proven experience working on critical sites such as data centres, hospitals, or other high-demand environments.
  • Experience in supervising and coordinating teams within a Facilities Management environment.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of HV/LV switching and operations.
  • Experience in project management and delivering works outside of contractual scope.
